Job Overview:
Collection Specialists secure payment arrangements with customers for the purpose of bringing to current the customer's account. Collection specialists achieve goals and quotas while following all collection practices, policies and procedures. This will be handling "hard" collections not business to business collections. Will have training and a script example to follow.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year collections experience (call center preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Stable work history
- Able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Must be team-oriented
- Must be results, goal and performance-driven
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Must be able to engage customers and use appropriate negotiation techniques
