1. How do I search for jobs?

 

You can perform a quick search which lists all job listing or an advanced search by job category, job type, or keyword.

 

2. What are the different types of jobs types?

 

There are three different types of jobs:

 

Temporary - Assignments vary in length and the applicant  works as an employee of TPI Staffing at a client site and is paid by TPI Staffing.

 

Temp-to-Hire - Applicant works as an employee of TPI Staffing for a period of time (varies by client but usually 6-12 weeks) and then is hired as a full-time employee of the client company.

 

Direct HireApplicant is hired as a full time employee of the client company.

 
3. Do I have to pay anything to use TPI Staffing services?

 

No fees are ever charged to the applicant for any of our positions.

 

4. Do I need to apply to each job that I am interested in? 
 

No, by submitting your online application to a job posting, all of your information is entered into our database. When a job is available that matches your skills and qualifications, a counselor will contact you to arrange an interview.

 

  5. What happens after I submit my application?

 

After you submit your application, all of your information is entered into our database and matched against all current and future positions.

 

6. How soon will I be placed on a job?
 

The more information that you give us regarding your background, skills, and pay requirements, the better able we will be to match you with an open position. If we do not currently have a position that matches your skills, you will remain in our database to match against new positions as they become available. We make every effort to find you a position as quickly as possible.

 

 

7. How do I make myself available?
 

To call in your availability to work, dial (281) 890-2220 press option 2, then option 1.

8. Is all of this paperwork really necessary?

Yes, there are numerous governmental agencies that require this information such as the Department of Homeland Security, Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, etc.
